Tutankhamun Tour of Egypt from Luxor ...... ITINERARY
Day One - Wednesday
We are pleased to greet you from the plane at Luxor International Airport and assist you through customs and on to your 5 Hotel for one night including evening meal.
Day Two - Thursday
After breakfast we take you with your guide by air conditioned coach to visit the Valley of the Kings , the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon before checking in to your 5 Nile cruise boat. Your cruise is fully inclusive of all meals. Night on board.
Day Three - Friday
Cruise south to Edfu. Night on board.
Day Four - Saturday
Excursion to visit Edfu temple in the morning before sailing further south to visit Kom Ombo temple in the afternoon. Night on board.
Day Five - Sunday
From your cruise boat at Aswan we take you to Philae Temple and the unfinished obelisk before sailing on a felucca around the islands in the Nile including a visit to Kitchener's Island. Night on board.
Day Six - Monday
We check you out of your Nile cruise boat after breakfast and head further south by air - conditioned coach to join your 5 Lake Nasser cruise boat at Abu Simbel where you will visit this great temple. Your cruise is fully inclusive of all meals. Night on board.
Day Seven - Tuesday
Sail to Kasr Ibrim, entrance to this ancient sight is not permitted so your guide will explain its history from the Sun Deck of the boat. Sail on towards Amada. Night on board.
Day Eight - Wednesday
Morning visit to Amada Temple and then sail on to Wadi El Seboua to visit the three temples there in the afternoon. Night on board.
Day Nine - Thursday
Just before your cruise boat arrives at Aswan a visit is made to Kalabsha Temple. Night on board.
Day Ten - Friday
Check out of your Lake Nasser cruise boat and transfer to Luxor by air condition coach. Free time in Luxor before catching the night sleeper train, dinner included, to Cairo.
Day Eleven - Saturday
Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your 5, half board, hotel before visiting the Pyramids of Giza, Great Sphinx and Saqqara. Lunch is included. Free evening. Night in Cairo.
Day Twelve - Sunday
Morning visit to the world famous Cairo Museum to see the treasures of Tutankhamen. Evening visit to the Khan el Kahalili, the oldest bazaar in Cairo. Night in Cairo.
Day Thirteen - Monday
Free day in Cairo before catching the night sleeper train to Luxor, dinner included.
Day Fourteen - Tuesday
From the station we check you into your 5, half board, hotel. Free day in Luxor before a sunset sail on the Nile and a special evening of Egyptian entertainment at Felaha's Tent including all food and drinks. Night in Luxor.
Day Fifteen - Wednesday
Check out of your hotel and transfer to Luxor International Airport for your flight home.
